The Lone Wolf Is Not

Sighting a grizzly bear, a moose, and caribou, which are considered to be the big three when visiting the wilderness known as Denali Park. As mentioned, the experience can be a living example of how we all are connected with mother earth.

So where does the wolf fit in? At the minimum, sighting Canus lupus on the prowl to provide for his family hidden just over the hill. well, words fail to describe.

From the greater view, the whole park is their domain. Wolves are at the top of the food chain, and here, where hunting by man is prohibited, many researchers feel they are a vital force in keeping other animals in balance with available resources.

Or, have they? So many books. So many observers, and the question still remains. Thanks goodness I have a reason to return to Denali in search of the answer.
